I've been doing some icons of Anne Rice's Lestat for completedirony I've really enjoyed them so far, as these icons have represented a complete departure from my usual style in terms of coloring and shadow. I was rather pleased with the results of this one and thought I'd share. This tutorial was written for PSP 8. Tried to make it beginner friendly, but if you have questions, please ask. It should translate well enough into other versions of PSP, I really don't know about other programs. I may try it in GIMP myself later…anyone who wants to see about PS, I'd love to know how it works.

I went all experimental and weird with my icons this past weekend. First we have some color/lighting experiments, or "Fun With Danny" using curves and my space textures. 62 Total.

Some more curves experiments, with some layer experiments thrown in. 45 Miscelaneous SG-1. Feel free to add text or whatever to these, guys, but please comment if you do edit them. I was lazy, but I'd love to see what anyone adds.

Then 22 HP: GoF variations using pretty bases by gsd82 because I was too darn lazy to hunt down caps and make my own. And yes...the obligatory H/D icon for nekkidchick is here. *rolleyes* *shudder* I hate Malfoy. Have I mentioned I hate Malfoy? I mean, not like "I hate Remiel...but in a good way." I really, really hate Draco Malfoy.
